SMS Messaging Policy

Last updated: July 24, 2026

This policy describes the SMS messaging program operated by Aurelia Mint LLC (dba “Plebco”) on behalf of independent service businesses using our platform.

Who sends these messages

When you book an appointment with a service business that uses Plebco — a hair salon, personal trainer, groomer, photographer, or similar provider — that business uses Plebco’s platform to send text messages to you. Each message identifies the business by name. Aurelia Mint LLC operates the underlying messaging infrastructure on behalf of these businesses.

What messages you’ll receive

Plebco supports two separate kinds of text messages, each with its own opt-in. You can receive one, both, or neither.

Customer-care messages (first opt-in). Account and appointment texts about a booking you made:

Marketing messages (second opt-in). Promotional texts that invite you to book again:

Marketing messages are entirely optional and are never a condition of booking or of receiving customer-care messages.

You will only receive a given kind of text message if you actively booked with the business and checked the matching opt-in box during booking. Both opt-ins are optional and neither is required to book. If you leave a box unchecked, we do not send you that kind of message.

How you opt in

When you book through a Plebco-powered booking page, the “Your details” step shows two clearly labeled, unchecked checkboxes near the phone number field:

  1. Customer-care opt-in. Checking it records your consent to receive the account and appointment texts described above from that business, sent via Plebco.
  2. Marketing opt-in. A separate, independent checkbox for rebooking and win-back marketing texts. It is unchecked by default and is not a condition of booking or any purchase.

Each opt-in is recorded on its own, and one is never inferred from the other. We store the date and time of each opt-in and the exact disclosure you agreed to. You can consent to one without the other. Leaving both unchecked means you are booked but enrolled in no text messaging, and no messages are sent.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on the business and your appointment activity. As a typical example, a single appointment cycle may include 2 to 5 messages.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply per your wireless carrier’s plan. Plebco does not charge you for messages.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message to immediately unsubscribe from that business’s messaging program. You will receive one confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out, and no further messages will be sent from that business.

You can also reply with natural language such as “please stop texting me” or “remove me from your list.” Our system detects opt-out intent in plain English and honors it the same as a STOP keyword.

Opt-out applies to the specific business you replied to, not to all businesses on our platform. To stop receiving messages from all Plebco-powered businesses, contact support@plebco.us.

How to get help

Reply HELP to any message for assistance. You may also contact the business directly through their normal channels, or contact Plebco support at support@plebco.us.

Privacy

Your phone number, message content, and opt-in status are processed by Plebco as a service provider to the business you booked with. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Changes to this policy

We may update this SMS Messaging Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to affected users. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
